Aisle Alchemy
After being a part of the wedding industry for over twenty years, I've learned that aligning all the moments of a wedding day from aisle procession to send-off requires serious magic. Orchestrating the details (we know you brides want plenty of them) and conveying your vision to vendors takes organization and good communication skills. At the end of the day, you want a planned event that is all about you both.
This Vow Bride issue is full of stories that reflect uniquely styled weddings. We profile three nationally known bloggers who share insights about emerging trends influencing today's weddings. These online style mavens identify the visual details that inspire them to feature weddings on their sites. As one blogger shared, "Couples are making the day more about themselves. In doing so, they allow the beauty of the ceremony to be paired magically with the most important celebration of their life."
In this issue, you'll also learn more about the art of boudoir photography. After observing an actual session, I was sold on the idea. Brides have an opportunity to create something intimate and meaningful just by being themselves-with some playful sexy fun thrown in! The end result is surprisingly tasteful and beautifully executed.
We continue to place the emphasis on how to personalize your day. From bridal and honeymoon fashions to the latest wedding trends and ideas, we've tailored what's on our pages to reflect the attention to detailed style we know you crave for inspiration. Consider Vow Bride as a new kind of inspiration board viewed on our website, on Pinterest or tucked under your arm for easy reference when planning your wedding.
Believe in your magic!

Color of the Year (or season) -- Tangerine!
Color Alert!
Brides looking for a vibrant and up to date color scheme for bridesmaid attire, floral bouquets and arrangements and reception decor might consider this hot news off the fashion press.
Named as Pantone's 2012 Color of the Year, Tangerine Tango is an energetic red-orange that translates for all markets and enlivens a variety of designs from statement-making wall paints to vibrant contrast details on clothing and accessories. According to Leatrice Eiseman, executive Director at Pantone Color Institute: "Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy".
Brides, start your engines with some color pop!
