In the heart of downtown Norfolk, Danielle and Brandon shared vows within the glass enclosed grandeur of Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center. “From the moment we entered our venue, we knew this was the place for our wedding. Beautiful views, open space, and lots of windows showering sunlight into a gorgeous room.” Vibrant colors filled the room in the form of floral arrangements of cascading crystals and orchids, orange calla lilies and trees made of manxanilla with crystal and bead accents on black satin linens with colorful accents. Bridesmaids wore black strapless gowns carrying bouquets of stephanotis, magenta orchids, green fuji mums, roses and orange gladiolas for added pop. The bride found the dress of her dreams- a satin ballgown with vintage Alencon lace bodice by Judd Waddell- in a magazine before she became engaged. “When I finally tried it on in the store, my parents and I cried. I knew it was the perfect dress for me.” Brandon loved watching Danielle walk down the aisle in front of hundreds of people and once vows were exchanged, the evening kicked off with favorite music by DJ Luke Barton. The five layered fondant cake with black bow and broach accents was made with Godiva chocolate and designed by the bride. The happy couple rode off into the summer night in a horse and carriage. What moved the couple most? “Our entire wedding day was like a fairy tale come true. I married the man of my dreams!”
